16 O V E R F L O W / L E V E L MONITOR .. . . ' . ,-
During measurement of w o w flutter, the monitor lamp will- light when an input
signal of specified level (selected by L E V E L (Q) ) and frequency (3 kHz, 3 . 1 5
kHz) ± 3 0 0 Hz is present.
- During measurement of frequency, this lamp will also light w h e n a signal of
specified input level (more than 1 0 0 mV) is present. The lamp flickers when the
input frequency is more than 9 9 9 9 Hz, indicating an overflow frequency.
Note:
The lamp flickers momentarily at the time of power ON. This is normal and is
not an indication of trouble.

Use this grip when carrying the F L - 1 8 0 .
19 Meter
This meter indicates w o w flutter for direct reading. It provides two full scale
readings of " 1 0 " and " 3 " which correspond to each position of the R A N G E
switch (B).
