ENGLISH OPERATION MANUAL
Thank you for purchasing this KENWOOD product.
To obtain the best performance from this product, please
read this manual carefully. Please refer to the illustrations
in the Japanese instruction when operating this unit.
POWER SOURCE
This unit can be powered from the included rechargeable bat-
tery, commercially sold AA alkaline battery (LR6), or house-
hold power supply (100 V, 50/60 Hz). The included battery
recharger stand is required when powering the unit with the
household power supply.
When using the unit with the rechargeable battery
(pages 16 to 17)

Connect the plug of the supplied AC adaptor to the
DC
IN
terminal of the battery recharger stand.
Connect the supplied AC adaptor to a household wall
socket.

Open the battery lid.

Insert the rechargeable battery, being sure to place it in
the proper direction, and close the lid.

Place the unit on the battery recharger stand with the
side which has the battery recharger stand terminal
facing downwards.

CHARGE
indicator lights when charging starts and
goes off when it completes. The indicator will go out
after 7 hours at the maximum.

Fasten the battery case securely to the unit and turn the
LOCK
knob in the direction of the arrow.

Open the included battery case.

Insert the battery in the case, being sure to place it in
the proper direction, then close the lid.
