Playback (Basics)

When playback is started again, it will start from the start of the track that
was being played back when playback was stopped.  (Playback will start
from the first track if the MD has been removed from the unit.) This is
called the “

RESUME

” function.

When you are operating the unit on a train or when you are carrying it
with the power off, this function allows you to prevent faulty operation
due to accidental key operation. (Both the main unit and remote control
should be carried with the HOLD function engaged.)
