Remove the attachment nut from the valve body.
Be sure to leave a little clearance between the screw fastener and
the valve body.
Holding the bottom of the valve body, push up firmly and tighten
the screw of the screw fastener evenly.
Refer “Attaching the Filter Cartridge” on Page 18
Turn the screw fastener about half a revolution, attaching it loosely.

The nut may be damaged if tightened too much with a tool. Be
careful not to injure yourself with the broken pieces when removing
the damaged nut from the spout.
Set the screw fastener on the valve body.
The rubber gasket assures a
tight fit to prevent water
leakage.

Turn the screw fastener clockwise to secure it firmly to the valve
body and complete the attachment.
