Thermostat Function

•  Set the desired room temperature by

turning the thermostat dial clockwise to

the desired position. You may adjust the

temperature during use. To turn down the

thermostat turn the dial anti-clockwise.

•  To find the ideal thermostat setting for you,

first set the knob to the maximum position.

As soon as the temperature is comfortable,

turn the thermostat down slowly, until the

heater turns off. The heater will keep the

surrounding air at this set temperature

by switching on and off at intervals. The

indicator light lights up when the heater is

on.

•  To switch the heater off fully, press the

power switches down and the thermostat to

“•”. The indicator light will turn off also.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE

: When switched on for the first time

a slight odour may be emitted for a few

minutes. This is harmless and occurs with most

appliances as slight traces of dust or lubricants

may have collected during manufacture.

•

If not wall mounted, fix castors to base

supports (refer to Portable Assembly on

page 3), and place the heater on a level

surface in a stable upright position.

•  Ensure power switches are in the OFF

position (pressed down) and the thermostat

is in the “•” (OFF) position.

•  Unwind the power cord and plug your

heater into a power socket (refer to

Positioning the Heater on page 3). Ensure

the voltage on the specification plate is the

same as in your home and the power cord

is lying safely on the ground.

•  Switch the heater ON by selecting:
   a. Power setting I – 1000W
  b. Power setting II – 500W
  c. Both I and II – 1500W
•  The heater operates when both the power

switch and thermostat function are activated

– the red indicator light will turn on.
