Installing the mounting plate
CAUTION: Ensure the power is off at the
main fuse box prior to beginning installation.

Turn off the switch at the wall.
□
Turn the power off at the main fuse box.
□
Screw green ground screw (FF) onto mounting plate (BB), do not tighten the green ground screw (FF).
□
Attach the mounting plate (BB) to the outlet box and use two outlet box screws (CC) to secure it.

Removing the power cord
The power cord is the wire that enters through the bottom of the backplate.
□
Remove the three wire nuts that connect to power cord by twisting counter clockwise. (see diagram)
□
Remove the "8" shape cord clip and pull power cord out through bottom of the backplate.
□
Remove the grommet and use the hole plug (JJ) to cover the hole in backplate.
