Some users who are sensitive to ozone set their units up on a timer so that the
purifier does its work only when they are away from home. This allows for a
higher setting and higher concentrations, which can be more effective for
purging purposes. The ozone will normally dissipate in less than an hour after
the purifier is turned off. Simple timers plug into an outlet and are available at
hardware and variety stores.

Ceramic Plate
Removable ceramic plate. Wash with ammonia &
water using a stiff brush or toothbrush. Rinse
thoroughly and dry completely before replacing.
HEPA filter
HEPA filter can be washed with water when it
gets dirty. Reinstall the HEPA after it is
completely dry. Its lifetime is two years.
NOTE: As you stand in front of the unit the ionizer will create a slight charge.
If you then touch a metal object there may be a static electric discharge similar
to touching a doorknob in winter.
