11. ATTACHING THE 

LIGHT KIT PLATE

NOTE:

 Before starting installation, disconnect 

the power by turning off the circuit breaker or 

removing the fuse at fuse box. Turning power 

off  using  the  fan  switch  is  not  sufficient  to 

prevent electric shock.

12. ATTACHING THE 

LIGHT BULBS AND 

GLASS SHADE

 

Step  1.  Install  1  ×  75W  halogen  bulb 

(included). (Fig. 18)

Step  2.  Install  the  glass  shade  by  carefully 

turning  it  clockwise  until  snug. 

DO  NOT 

OVERTIGHTEN.

Remove 1 of 3 screws from the mounting plate 

and  loosened  the  other  2  screws(Do  not 

remove). (Fig 17)

Connect white wire from motor to white wire 

from  light  kit  plate.  Connect  black  wire  from 

motor to black wire from light kit plate.

Place key holes on the light kit plate over the 2 

serews  previously  loosened  from  the 

mounting plate, turn light kit plate until it locks 

in  place  at  the  narrow  setion  of  the  key 

holes.Secure  by  tightening  2  screws 

previously  loosened  and  the  one  previously 

removed. (Fig 17)

WARNING:

  Shut  off  the  power  supply  before 

removing  or  replacing  lamp.    In  handling  of 

halogen bulb, care should be taken not to touch 

it with your bare hands.  Oil residue will shorten 

the life of the halogen bulb.  If you accidentally 

come into contact, wipe thoroughly with a clean, 

lint-free, cotton cloth before installing.  Allow the 

bulb to cool off before changing the bulb.  Use 

light bulb in accordance with the fan's specifica-

tion.   

REDUCE THE  RISK OF FIRE  DO NOT 

EXCEED MAXIMUM WATTAGE  RATING.
