BELT ADJUSTMENT
CHECK BELT TENSION REGULARLY
The belt should move 20 mm under pressure - see illustration.
Re-tighten the pulley bolts at regular intervals.
To keep the clamp bushing in place while replacing belt
or pulley:
•
Loosen and remove bolts from the pulley.
•
Insert them in the threaded holes on the clamp
bushing. (See marked holes in the illustration.)
•
Then remove the remaining bolts.
•
Replace belt/pulley and then reassemble all bolts.
•
Tighten and check the belt tension,
and adjust if necessary.
CHECK AND TIGHTEN COG BELT AFTER ONE HOUR OF OPERATION!!
