PRODUCT SAFETY INFORMATION

Kellfri’s pasture topper is designed to work efficiently at 540 rpm. Make sure that the tractor’s
power take off is set to 540 rpm. The machine may only be used for mowing grass. In addition,
the machine should only be used with a suitable tractor (see product specifications) and pow-
ered by a suitable PTO shaft. Any other use is strictly prohibited.

The user of the machine should understand the contents of this manual before using, servic-
ing and assembling any tractor equipment and any other relevant actions. Never wear jewel-
lery, loose clothing such as neckties, scarves, belts, unbuttoned jackets that can get caught in
moving parts.

Always wear approved garments that comply with accident prevention regulations such as
anti-slip footwear, ear defenders, goggles and gloves. Wear a jacket with reflective details if
used near public roads.

Contact your dealer, health protection authority or nearest equivalent authority for informa-
tion on the current safety regulations and special regulations to ensure personal safety

Warning!

ALWAYS DISENGAGE THE PTO SHAFT, STOP THE TRACTOR ENGINE AND APPLY
THE PARKING BRAKE BEFORE MAKING ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO THE MACHINE.

DANGER!

Never put your hands or feet under the machine without first switching off the

equipment and the tractor’s engine. The rotors can continue to rotate for up to 1
minute after the PTO shaft is disconnected

•

Never leave the equipment with the tractor engine running. Turn off the engine and ap-
ply the parking brake when you leave the equipment – even for a short period.

•

Never leave the machine in a raised position. There can be a loss of pressure in the hy-
draulics and the machine can drop to the ground.

•

Make sure that all guards are correctly installed and cannot come loose.

•

The entire length of the PTO shaft must be guarded.  Make sure safety chains are well
anchored.

•

Only the driver of the tractor may be present in the vicinity of the machine while it’s op-
erational.  Do not permit anyone to stand under suspended loads.

•

Check before driving that there are no stones sticking up in the field, or objects lying
around that could be thrown out while operating.
