display.getlastkey
Function
Retrieves the keycode for the last pressed key.
Usage
key = display.getlastkey()
Remarks
• This read-only function returns the keycode for the last pressed key.
key
returns one of
the following values:

• A history of the keycode for the last pressed front panel key is maintained by the Series
2600. When the instrument is powered-on, (or when transitioning from local to remote),
the keycode is set to
0
(
display.KEY_NONE)
.
• The
OUTPUT
ON/OFF
keys for SMU A and SMU B cannot be tracked by this function.
• Pressing the
EXIT
/
LOCAL
key normally aborts a script. In order to use this function with
the
EXIT
key,
display.locallockout
must be used.
