Check DC current load regulation
This check procedure uses the same test setup as the previous procedure (see
(on page B-28)).
1. S
et the voltmeter as follows:
a.
Set to measure DC volts.
b.
Set to auto range.
c.
Set to show amps (instead of volts) by multiplying the voltmeter result by 20.
•
Press Shift DC V (mX+B)
•
Use the arrow key to move the cursor as far to the right as it can go until it is positioned on the ^.
•
Press the up range button once: M=10.00000
•
Move the arrow key to the 1's digit and up range once: M=20.00000
•
Press Enter. The display shows B=0
•
Press Enter. The display shows Units:
•
Use the arrow keys to modify the display to show AMP.
•
Adjust each letter individually.

Set the electronic load as follows:
a.
Set to Constant Voltage.
b.
Set to the minimum test voltage level.

Set the DUT to 100% of the FS output current for your product.

Set the DUT to 100% of the FS output voltage for your product.

Turn the DUT output on.

Enter the voltmeter reading into the DC current load regulation table for checking current load
regulation at the minimum voltage for your product.
7.
Increase the electronic load to the Reference test voltage level.
