Telnet connection
The Telnet protocol is similar to raw socket, and can be used when you need to interact directly with
the instrument. Telnet is often used for debugging and troubleshooting. You will need a separate
Telnet program to use this protocol.
The 2606B supports the Telnet protocol, which you can use over a TCP/IP connection to send
commands to the instrument. You can use a Telnet connection to interact with scripts or send
real-time commands.
Logging LAN trigger events in the event log
You can use the event log to record all LXI triggers generated and received by the 2606B. You can
view the event log using any command interface or the embedded web interface. The following figure
shows the view of the LXI event log from the embedded web interface.
