Front panel pulse parameters
Fixed mode
shows how various front panel programming parameters control various fixed
pulse waveform aspects. These parameters are programmed by pressing the appropriate
key:
•
LASER I
L
— sets the pulse amplitude.
•
DELAY
— sets the pulse delay (time period between pulses).
•
PW
— sets the pulse width.

Front panel fixed mode pulse parameters
Staircase sweep mode
shows how various front panel programming parameters control various stair-
case sweep pulse waveform aspects. These parameters are programmed by pressing the
appropriate key:
•
Pulse amplitudes: determined by the programmed START, STOP, and STEP (or #
POINTS) parameters in the CONFIG SWEEP menu.
•
DELAY
— sets the pulse delay (time between pulses).
•
PW
— sets the pulse width.
•
LOW
— This parameter, accessible in the CONFIG LASER I
L
menu, sets the
pulse low level. The pulse amplitude returns to this level during the pulse delay
unless the pulse amplitude is below the low level, in which case the level is set to
0A.
