Digital I/O port
The Model 2520 has a digital input/output port that can be used to control external digital
circuitry.
Port configuration
The Digital I/O Port is located on the rear panel and is shown in
standard male DB-9 connector is used for the Digital I/O port.

Digital output lines
The port provides four output lines and one input line. Each open-collector output can be
set high (+5V) or low (0V). Each output line can source up to 2mA or sink up to 500mA.
