Perform a fast current load measurement
The following example demonstrates how to configure the power supply to perform a fast current
measurement initiated by an external trigger on digital line 1.
Equipment required
One Series 2280 power supply
Dual-channel arbitrary function generator (Tektronix AFG3120C)
Oscilloscope
Resistors: 2.5 Ω and 20 Ω
nMOSFET
Set up remote communications
You can run this application from the front panel or any of the supported communication interfaces for
the instrument (GPIB, USB, or ethernet).
The following figure shows the rear-panel connection locations for the remote communication
interfaces. For additional information about setting up remote communications, see
