Introduction
KC-090 Lightning Detector detects the characteristic electromagnetic emissions from individual lightning
strokes and analyze the low-frequency electromagnetic pulse to determine the distance to detected strokes. It is
designed for low power consumption, and features LED pattern indications, rapid detection, safe and easy to
either operate or carry. KC-090 offers the user the ability to detect presence of lightning / thunderstorm activity
occurring with 40 miles, an ideal tool to have by your side when doing hiking, field trip, mountain climbing and
any outdoor activities. The distances are indicated in four ranges, 0-6 miles, 6-12 miles, 12-24 miles and 24-40
miles. KC-090 will also indicates the direction of thunder movement (approaching or leaving) when it detects
two or more thunder strokes. A build-in compass widget is also included.
