OVERLOAD fUNCTION
3.3 Overload function
Valid for drive controllers from firmware version 2.2.0.43.
The overload duration achievable in practice depends essentially on the cooling condi-
tions. The overload protection of the drive controller is triggered by the following causes:
• Permissible heat sink temperature is exceeded, leading to the error message
"OH (Error overheat powermodules)".
• Exceeding the tripping time leads to the error message "ERROR overload",

3.3.1 AC-Motor (18 / 19 / 23P6)
3.3.1.1 Overload function (OL)
The OL function protects the drive controller against permanent overload. Depending on
the cooling, long-term operation in the overload range can lead to the "ERROR overheat
powermodules", which trips the drive before the OL function responds.
The following graphic shows the tripping time as a function of the respective constant
overload:
