When using a motor choke
Reduction of the:
• rate of voltage rise (dv/dt)
• motor bearing currents
• motor losses
• motor noises
When using an output filter
Sinusoidal output voltage, resulting in a reduction of:
• motor losses
• motor warming
• motor noises
• bearing currents
• EMC emitted interference
The structure itself is determined by:
• Low-loss winding strands as conductor material
• Core material specially designed for this frequency range
• Special capacitors for operation up to 800 / 1600 Hz
These features lead to a significant extension of the motor lifetime.
