About HD Movie Mode
HD movie recording allows you to record movies in high
definition. You can use a recording mode of your chose.

* Up to 2 GB of HD movie data can be saved for one
recording. The recording times shown here are times for
recording approx. 2 GB when a commercially available
microSD memory card (4 GB to 32 GB) is set. However,
the recording time varies depending on the recording
conditions. Recording times may also be shorter
depending on the remaining battery charge.
The speed class of the most recommended
microSDHC memory card is Class 4 or above. A lower
performance card may cause abnormal recording or
audio and visual failure during HD movie playback.
Recording an HD Movie
When the standby screen is displayed, press

The HD movie monitor screen appears.
Turn the CA006 sideways as indicated by the icon
showing orientation the movie will be saved in.

The HD movie recording screen is displayed.
Recording stops when you press

or when the maximum recording time
elapses.
The HD movie is saved to the HD Movie Folder in the
Data Folder of the cell phone or the microSD memory
card, and the display returns to the HD movie monitor
screen.
If the cell phone is closed or if the style is switched to
the Viewfinder position while recording an HD movie,
recording will end and the HD movie will be saved
to the HD Movie Folder in the Data Folder of the cell
phone or the microSD memory card.
If you attempt to charge while HD Movie is running,
will display on the screen and you will not be
able to charge. End HD Movie to charge.
If remaining battery charge becomes low while running
HD Movie (when
or
is displayed), you should
end HD Movie and charge as soon as possible. Note
that continuing to use HD Movie may result in the
power turning off.
