Select each environment and select “Activate” to activate the setting or elect “Customize” to customize 

the sound and light settings on each environment. 

 

8.1 Tone Setup 

This menu customizes the tones in the following setups. 

 

8.1.1 Incoming Call 

This option allows you to select the required ring tone. You can set the ring tone from sound files 

downloaded from WAP download, MMS and EMS. You can also forward files from Phone Memory 

to this User Profile. Each time you select a tone, the phone will play it for a few seconds. 

 

8.1.2 Alarm 

This option allows you to select the alarm sound. You can set the alarm tone from sound files 

downloaded from WAP download, MMS and EMS. You can also forward files from Phone memory 

to this User Profile. Each time you select a tone, the phone will play it for a few seconds. 

 

8.1.3 Power On 

You can select power on sound from 10 tones or silent. The phone will play the Power On tone, 

when you power on the phone by pressing the End/Power key. 

 

8.1.4 Power Off 

You can select power on sound from 10 tones or silent. The phone will play the Power Off tone, 

when you turn off the phone by pressing the End/Power key. 

 

8.1.5 Cover Open 

You can select cover open sound from 6 tones or silent. 

 

8.1.6 Cover Close 

You can select cover close sound from 6 tones or silent. 

 

8.1.7 Message Tone 

You can select message sound from 5 tones or silent. The phone will play the Message Tone you 

selected, when you receive a message.
