Handlebar and Stem Installation
WARNING:
To prevent loss of control and steering system damage,
the “MIN-INSERT” (minimum inser
ti
on) mark (A) on the stem must be
below the top of the locknut (B).
NOTE:
Remove plas
ti
c cap from the
end of the Stem (5).
1. Insert the Stem (5) into the fork
(fig 03).
2. Point the stem towards the
front of the bike
3. Tighten the Stem Bolt (C)
enough to hold it in posi
ti
on.
4. Align the stem with the front
ti
re and
ti
ghten the stem bolt
(C) securely to 13
ft
-lbs
(fig 03).

Do not over

ghten the stem bolt. Over
ti
ghtening the
stem bolt can cause loss of control and damage to the steering system.
NOTE:
Do not over
ti
ghten. Torque to 13
ft
-lbs.
