refilling water container.

PLUG IN VAPORIZER. IMPORTANT
: Vapourizer will NOT START unless vapourizer has been
disconnected for at least one minute. Nightlight will illuminate when electricity is connected. This
will indicate that the heating unit is functioning.
Vapourizer will produce a gentle flow of steam within a few minutes. Do not lift or move the
vapourizer while in use.

OPERATION
: Vapourizer will shut off automatically when the water reaches a minimum level (about
20 mm from bottom of container).

VENTILATE ROOM REGULARLY
: When vapourizer is used in closed or small rooms, check periodically
for proper ventilation, as excessive humidity can cause condensation on walls.

AFTER EACH USE
: Empty any unused water from the container. Rinse container thoroughly, drain
and wipe with a dry, clean cloth. To maintain proper operation of your vapourizer, be sure to follow
CARE AND CLEANING instructions.

Remove heating unit, letting all water drain back into the container. Do not attempt to disassemble the
heating unit. Doing so could damage the vapourizer or cause personal injury, and will void the warranty.

Soak heating unit in 8 cm (3 inches) of white
vinegar for 10 minutes (Fig. 4). Use a butter
knife to gently remove any minerals from the
metal heater surface (Fig. 5). Access to the
heater surface can be obtained by lifting the
hinged cover on bottom of unit.
CLEAN THE HEATER SURFACE AFTER EACH

CORD CAUTION
: Unravel cord before use. Failure to do so could cause overheating and possible fire hazard.

DISCONNECT CORD
: Always disconnects cord at wall plug before
removing the heating unit, filling, cleaning, or when not in use.
IMPORTANT: The heating unit will not operate unless the plug has
been disconnected from electrical outlet for about 1-2 minutes
prior to reconnecting.

REMOVE HEATING UNIT
: Lift the rear of heating unit cap and
slowly rotate in a counter-clockwise direction until the slanted
portions of the two locking tabs is cleared. Then lift the heating
unit directly upwards until the locking tabs are clear of the water reservoir. (Fig. 1)

FILL THE CONTAINE
R: Fill container with tap water to the MAX water
level marked on the water reservoir.
DO NOT OVERFILL

REPLACE HEATING UNIT
: Align the two locking tabs on the side
of the heating unit with the two slots in the water reservoir. The
heating unit will only engage the water reservoir in the proper
orientation. Seat the heating unit into the locking tabs of the water
reservoir, then rotate the head clockwise to hold unit in place.

PLACE VAPORIZER IN STABLE POSITION
: Vapourizer should
always be placed on a firm, flat surface at least 1.2 meters
(4 feet) from bedside. For safest operation, vapourizer should be placed on floor, where it cannot fall
or be pulled down. Be sure the power cord is out of the way to prevent vapourizer from being upset.
Protect floor, rug or furniture by placing the vapourizer on a non-metallic heat-resistant surface.
CAUTION
: Do not direct steam flow directly at recipient, walls or furniture. Recipient will still obtain
desired level of humidity.
KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN; STEAM CAN CAUSE BURNS
. This appliance is not intended
for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision. Young children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

INHALANT STEAM ACTIVATED
:
KAZ INHALANT or VICKS VAPOSTEAM can be filled is the medicine cup. Those products are not
delivered with the vapourizer but are available on some websites. You can use steam inhalants or
medicine oils brands available in drugstores and
pharmacies. For best results, fill the medicine
cup on the cap (located in the front of the of the
steam outlet vents) with the steam inhalant or
medicine oil product. DO NOT put this oil or steam
inhalant in the water tank, it must be put in the
medicine cup and not inside the tank. Any brand
or medicine into the water tank will damage the
unit and void the guarantee. (Fig. 3)
These inhalants are designed for use on one
vapourizer cycle (12-14 hours). After vapourizer

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not use this appliance if it is damaged or shows any signs of possible damage
or if it is not functioning properly. Disconnect the power plug from the power
socket.
• This humidifier requires regular cleaning. Refer to the cleaning instructions.
• Turn the humidifier OFF if you notice moisture on the inside of your windows.
For proper humidity reading use a hygrometer, which is available in many
hardware and department stores.
