Initial set up

Personnel qualifications

The bed shall only be assembled by an authorised technician accor-
ding to the information provided in this instruction manual. The
assembly must be carried out by two people.

Disinfecting care bed

Clean and disinfect the care bed before initial set up (see chapter
“Cleaning care bed”).

Connect the power supply

‡ WARNING!

Damaged power supply cable or exposed electrical cores. Electric
shock hazard

Route the power supply cable freely so it does not get jammed.

‡ WARNING!

Damaged power supply cable or mains plug. Electric shock hazard

Have the power supply cable as well as the mains plug be re-
placed by the manufacturer or authorised technician.

‡ WARNING!

Damp multiple sockets. Moisture may build up in multiple sockets
underneath the care bed. This may cause fires or electric shocks.

Only use extension cords with one socket to connect the mains
plug and protect the connection form moisture.

Please note

If the cable is routed incorrectly the power supply cable or mains plug
can get damaged.

Route the power supply cable freely so it cannot get jammed.

Choose an appropriate location for the care bed so that it can be
disconnected from the power supply easily by pulling the mains
plug (see chapter “Disconnecting from power supply”“).
