     NOTE:
To achieve a stable image with the scope,
we recommend mounting it on a tripod.

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING

•  Blow dust and debris off the lens and the

eyepiece, or use a soft lens brush.
Carefully rub off any stubborn dirt and
fingerprints using a soft cotton cloth.
Work outwards from the centre of the
lens, using circular movements. Work
carefully and do not use coarse polishing
cloths – risk of scratches or other
permanent damage.

•  In the event of significant dirt, camera

lens cleaning fluid can be used. Apply the
lens cleaning fluid on the cloth, never
directly on the lens.

STORAGE

When the scope is not in use, store it in a dry
location with the lens and eyepiece covers in
place. Do not touch the lens or eyepiece with
your fingers.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

     WARNING!

•  Never attempt to clean the inside of the

scope or to open it!

•  Never look at the sun, either with or

without the scope. This can result in
permanent eye injury.
