Check whether there is excessive carbon
deposit on piston top and groove. Remove if
necessary.
Check the state of piston and replace if worn
or if reuse is questionable. Measure
diameter of piston skirt. Replace it if the
value is beyond the maintenance limit value.
Assemble the piston ring according to the
figure and check whether piston ring is
damaged or the elasticity is weaken.
Replace if necessary.
