6.2 Bleaching
The general bleaching procedure with the bleaching handpiece 982 will be describe
in the following section. These instructions can vary depending on the bleaching
gel. The instructions of the bleaching manufacturer are authoritative when in doubt
(see the safety data sheet).
▶ Identify the tooth discoloration. This can be done using colour gradation or di‐
gitally with suitable software.
▶ All of the people in the room must wear the provided protective goggles.
▶ Apply gingiva protector and let it harden.
