Connection

Connect the WLAN/USB adaptor to a free USB 2.0 port on your 
Kathrein receiver. On most devices this can be found at the rear. 
Please note that this procedure is currently available only for the 
receivers listed above and the software versions shown.

Setting up

If you have not yet done so, now switch your receiver on. 
Press the menu button to call up the main menu. In the menu, 
select “Interfaces” and confi rm with “OK”. Now select “Ethernet 
Settings” and again confi rm with “OK”. The following on-screen 
display appears:

Use the arrow buttons to select the setting “On”. To activate the 
WLAN function you must then restart the receiver. After the restart, 
call up this menu (Main menu - Interfaces - Ethernet Settings) 
once again. In the menu, select the “WLAN Confi guration”  line 
and confi rm with “OK”. The display lists all the wireless (WLAN) 
networks that were found. In the menu, select the desired 
wireless network and confi rm with “OK”. Now you must input your 
network PIN.

Select the required settings here, according to your circumstances. 
You can then select “Test Connection” to test your settings, and 
“Save” to save them. After you have successfully made your 
settings, you will see the following on-screen display in the lower 
part of the “Ethernet Settings” menu (example):

To input your network PIN, call up the menu (Main menu - 
Interfaces - Ethernet Settings) once again. In the menu, select 
the “IP Confi guration” line and confi rm with “OK”. The following 
on-screen display appears (example):
