Tip
Information about the one-cable system
In the
one-cable system
several receivers/subscribers are connected to a
common antenna cable Furthermore:
●
Channels from several satellites are transmitted on up to 32 transmission
channels.
–
EXR .../EXU ...
/
User-defined
: 2 satellites, 8 channels,
UAS 481
: 1 satellite, 4 channels,
SCD2
: 64 satellites, 32 channels (in accordance with EN 50494)
– Each transmission channel is permanently assigned to a receiver/sub-
scriber.
Note
: Each transmission channel may only be assigned to
one
receiver/
subscriber, to prevent cross-channel interference.
– Each twin receiver requires two transmission channels.
●
One transmission frequency is assigned to each transmission channel.
Refer to the documentation of the one-cable system multi-switch to deter-
mine which frequency you must assign to which transmission channel.
Fig. 71, P. 131 shows an example channel/frequency assignment of multi-
switch
EXR 1581
.
●
If the one-cable system supports it, the assignment of a transmission chan-
nel to a transmission frequency can be protected with a PIN. The PIN pre-
vents the transmission frequency being inadvertently assigned to a second
receiver/tuner/subscriber.
It may be possible to permanently define the one-cable system PIN. Refer to
the documentation of the one-cable system for more information.
