inclinometer - Setting positioning on the UFS 946/CI+

Calling up menu Antenna Confi guration

• 

Select a programme from the desired satellite before aligning the antenna

• Press 

the 

(green) button

• 

Select the menu “Tuner Confi guration” (



) and press the  

 button

Select the “Position determination” line (

)

• 

Select the type of positioning (



), either “via 

GPS” or “List selection” and press the 

 button

Depending on your choice, the following screen will appear (example):

• 

Settings are made using the cursors (

) or the numerical keys

• Confi orm your selection by pressing the 

 button

 You must select “BAS 60 inkl. HDZ 60” in the “Tuner 1” line! 

Use the 



 buttons to do so.

• 

If you select “via GPS” you can enter the GPS coor-
dinates of your location.

•  If you select “List selection” fi rst select the country 

and then your city from a pre-saved list.

If necessary, re-align the antenna. Set the elevation to a value at which the blue tick appears (see image above). Set the azimuth to a 
value where you get maximum signal strength and quality. When performing, setting, please observe the documentation provided with 

your antenna. Press the 

 button to exit the menu. Your settings will be saved.

Actual value = Current elevation of the planar antenna
Target value = Target elevation value of the planar antenna

Actual and target values match = blue tick (see image on the 
right).
