The equipment described is designed solely for the installation of satel-
lite receiver systems.

Any other use or failure to comply with these instructions will void the
warranty or guarantee.

Install the equipment only in dry areas indoors. Do not install on or
against highly combustible materials.

Make sure that the equipment is provided with an earthing wire (Cu, at
least. 4 mm

).

Make sure to comply with the safety regulations set out in the current
EN 60728-11 and EN 60065 standards.

Connectors: RF connector 75 Ω (series F) according to EN 61169-24.

Terminate any unsused RF ports with 75 Ω resistors, e.g. EMK 03.

To meet EMC requirements, the only power supply unit allowed to be
used is the NCF 18.
Current-carrying device

Do not open the unit or temper with it.
●
When working on the system always unplug the power supply unit from
the wall socket

The device is intended only for wall mounting; see
(Symbolic Representation), p. 10
. All other installation positions are
prohibited.
●
Ensure adequate clearance to all sides of at least 5 cm.
●
Danger of overheating! Ensure that free circulation of air to discharge the
heat emitted by the unit is possible.
●
Operate the device only in the permissible ambient temperature range of
–20 to +55 °C.
Notice:
●
Do not place any liquid-filled items on top of the power supply unit.
●
Do not expose the power supply unit to dropping or splashing water.
●
Make sure that the power supply unit is easily accessible and operable.
●
Bear in mind that the only reliable method of disconnecting the unit from
the mains is to unplug it.
●
