Wireless Network Setup (Wi-Fi)
Follow these steps to set up Wi-Fi connection:
1. Turn on the router, if it was turned off, and wait for a full load (1-3 min).
2. Connect the power cable to the player and switch the player on using the power switch on
the back panel of the player. It takes around 1minute for the player to boot up completely.
3. To enter the setup menu, press
SETUP on your RC or enter the Setup folder in the Main
screen of the player (the file browser showing the root folder). Then select the section
“
Network ”.
4. Select section “ Connection: Wireless (Wi-Fi) ”. Click the " Scan for Wi-Fi networks .. ."
to search for WiFi networks and select your network SSID. Click to select ENTER . Either enter
the your name of the network in section “ Wi-Fi network ID (SSID) :”. If necessary, use the
RC buttons to type in the passcode for the access point, select “ OK ”, then press ENTER .
5. Click "Apply" and wait until the player will get IP-address (for example 192.168.0.199).
Return to the main menu by pressing the button
Return .
If you see your network scanning, but can not connect to it, check the settings “Security”
and “Password”. They must match the settings on your router.
