Start-up
Your vehicle can accommodate 2 propane cylinders weighing 6 kg each
(not included in the delivery).
The cylinders are found in the rear right-hand side storage room. To gain
access to the bottle box, the door must be opened.
Straps are used to secure the bottles. These straps must be tightened
again every time the cylinders are handled.
Before handling and connecting the cylinder make sure
that the stopcock for the cooking hob is closed.
The stopcock is closed when it is in vertical position to
the gas connection.
Each stopcock can be closed individually, regardless of
the function of the rest of the system.
A pictogram on each stopcock is used to indicate the sup-
plied device.

For putting the system into operation connect the main stopcock to the top cylinder. Once the
main stopcock has been connected, turn the stopcock for a quarter of a turn to open the gas
supply.
The cylinders must be secured inside the gas box using the straps provided for this purpose.
To replace an empty cylinder:
> Close all the supply valves of the connected devices, close the gas supply to the cylinder, and
disconnect the main shut-off valve.
> Replace the empty bottle with a full bottle, then reconnect the main shut-off valve.
> First open the gas supply on the cylinder and then open the supply valves of the connected
devices.
Any gas operated appliances must only be used while the vehicle is parked (on a campsite).
Always close the gas supply from the cylinder before starting to drive.
Never block the safety ventilation, not even partially.
Additional ventilation is required when preparing food. Openings and skylights near the cooking
hob must therefore be opened.
Never use a gas operated appliance while the vehicle is parked inside a closed room (garage, tun-
nel, etc.) or in an explosive atmosphere (e.g. petrol station). Keep the gas supply from the cylinder
closed during this time.
Do not use gas operated appliances for purposes other than the ones they are intended for (e.g.
use of the cooking hob for interior heating). Do not use appliances, which are connected inside,
outside the vehicle.
The gas cylinders must be installed in the box provided for this purpose. Never tilt a gas cylinder
that is currently in use.
