CAUTION
Potential damage to the fresh water pump or other equipment!
●
Never cover the fresh water pump during operation.
-> Fire hazard!
●
Operate the fresh water pump only if there is sufficient fresh water in the fresh
water tank.
-> Risk of damage to the fresh water pump due to dry running
5.6
Draining the fresh water tank
The fresh water tank can be drained with a manual
drain valve. It is located underneath a cover in the
floor in front of the bench seat, next to the fresh
water pump. This can be a blue release toggle
(variant A) or a brown lever (variant B). Before
draining the fresh water tank, the fresh water pump
has to be switched off on the control panel.

Reducing the content of the fresh water tank to 15 litres
To save weight during a journey, we recommend draining the content of the fresh water tank to a
residual volume of 15 % (= 15 litres). To do this, monitor the fill level of the fresh water tank on the
control panel while draining the water, until the residual volume of 15 % has been reached. (See item 5.6
