Refrigerator
▪
Use
Your vehicle is equipped with a compressor
refrigerator. The refrigerator is designed for
operation with 12 V DC.
The refrigerator allows you to store fresh food. You
may also store frozen food in the freezer
compartment.
Turn the temperature controller clockwise to
switch the refrigerator on. After switching the
refrigerator on it needs about 60 seconds until the
compressor starts.
The temperature can be adjusted by using the
controller. The integrated thermostat regulates the
temperature as follows:
-
1 = lowest cooling power
-
7 = highest cooling power
The cooling power depends on the ambient temperature, the amount of food to be
kept cool and the number of times the refrigerator door is opened.
▪
Keeping quality of food
- Turn the refrigerator on approx. 12 hours before filling it and only fill it with foods that
are already pre-cooled.
- Always keep food in closed containers, wrap food in aluminium foil or similar
wrappings.
- Do not put hot or warm food in the refrigerator, but wait until the food has cooled
down.
- Never store food in the refrigerator which could emit volatile or ignitable gases.
- Delicate or perishable food must be placed directly next to the cooling elements.
- The freezer compartment is intended for ice-cream preparations and the short-term
storage of frozen food. It is not suitable for freezing food.
- Protect the refrigerator from direct sunlight.
- Keep in mind, if parking the vehicle in direct the sunlight, the increased indoor
temperature may adversely affect the power consumption and performance of the
refrigerator.
- Always ensure unobstructed air circulation around the refrigerator.
