Disposal of broken or worn out batteries
Batteries don’t last forever. Therefore, batteries need to be changed after a
certain period. The safest way is to have this done by authorized personnel of
your local supplier. Batteries are chemical waste and need to be treated as
such, using protective clothing, gloves and glasses.
Replacing damaged or old batteries needs to be done by authorized
personnel wearing protective clothing, gloves and safety glasses.
Old or damaged batteries are classified as chemical waste and need to be
disposed according to the local regulations for chemical waste. Please
contact your local supplier for further details.
