This unit can be used for either dry or wet vacuum cleaning without
first having to change the filter.

The unit is fitted with a filter cleaning mechanism which is operated
by a rotary knob on the outside of the appliance.

Note

Note:  We recommend using a paper filter sack (see accessories
for order no.) or a cloth filter bag (see accessories for order no.)
for vacuuming up fine dust.

The surface filter remains installed in the unit.

Normal and coarse dirt can be vacuumed up without difficulty.

If the suction power has deteriorated, switch the unit off. Turn the
rotary knob that drives the filter cleaning mechanism several
times. It may also be necessary to empty the container or renew
the paper filter bag.

If after carrying out this cleaning procedure the optimum suction
power can still not be achieved, although there are no signs of
soiling in the suction hose, tube and nozzle, then this is an
indication that the flat panel filter is blocked by dirt.

-

The surface filter can be removed and rinsed inside and
outside under running water (allow to dry before re-using). The
filter must be replaced if very dirty (see accessories for order
no.).

-

When using a cloth filter bag, beat or brush off the bag. The
filter bag is also washable up to 60 °C.
