Filling the Boiler with Water

• Unscrew the safety lock (A3) of the appliance.

• Pour any water out of the boiler.

Do not fill any detergents or other additives

into the boiler!

• Fill a maximum of 2 litres of tap water into the

boiler.

The boiler can be filled up to 2 cm below the
edge of the filler neck.
You can cut down the heating-up time by using
warm water.

• Screw the safety lock (A3) back onto the

appliance.

Turning on the Appliance

• Connect the mains plug to a wall socket.

Do not turn on the appliance if there is no water
in the boiler. Otherwise, the appliance may
overheat. For reasons of safety, the appliance
automatically turns off the heating, the red low-
water indicator lamp (B5) lights up. Turn the
appliance off and fill the boiler with water to ensure
it is ready to work again (see “Refilling Water”).

• Turn the appliance on using the switch (A4).

The heating indicator lamp (B3) must light up.

The full heating performance is only available if
the modular accessory plug (C6) is connected to
the appliance during the heating-up period.

• Wait until the indicator lamp (B4) lights up.

Now, the steam cleaner is ready to work.

• Please make sure that the lock (C3) on the

steam gun has been released.

If you push the lock (C3) backwards, the steam
switch (C4) cannot be actuated (child-proof lock).
If you push the lock forwards, the steam switch
can be actuated.

• If you actuate the steam switch (C4), steam is

emitted. Direct the first burst of steam of the
steam gun (C1) at a separate piece of cloth
until the steam is emitted evenly.

• The heating of the steam cleaner is turned on in

regular intervals during the operation of the
appliance in order to maintain the pressure in the
boiler at a constant level. When the heating is turned
on, the yellow indicator lamp (B3) lights up.
