IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
When using this appliance, these basic
safety precautions should be followed:
1 Read all the instructions before us-
ing the product.
2 The product must be positioned so
that the power cord is accessible.
3 To protect the operator from electri-
cal shock, the appliance must be
electrically grounded. It is the re-
sponsibility of the owner to connect
this appliance to a grounded recep-
tacle of proper voltage and amper-
age ratings. Do not touch the
appliance with wet hands or while
standing in water. Always discon-
nect the power before servicing.
4 Supply voltage must be within
±10% of the typeplate voltage. In-
correct voltage can cause a fire or
seriously damage the equipment
and void the warranty. If in doubt,
consult a licensed electrician.
5 Do not operate the product with
damaged cord or if the equipment
has been dropped or damaged - un-
til it has been examined by a quali-
fied service technician. If the supply
cable is damaged, it must be re-

vice agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
6 Use only a 3-wire extension cable
with a 3-pin grounding plug, and a
3-pin receptacle that fits the prod-
uct's plug. When using an exten-
sion cable, be sure to use one
heavy enough to carry the current
your product draws.
7 Do not pull or carry by cord, use
cord as a handle, close a door on
cord, or pull cord around sharp edg-
es or corners. Do not run the unit
over cord. Keep cord away from
heated surfaces.
8 Be careful. Burns can occur from
touching hot parts such as the heat-
er element.
9 Do not place this appliance in the
vincinity of any flammable vapors,
liquids or solids.

flammable fluids, acids, or caustics
to enter this appliance.
11 Do not add water, solvent, mineral
spirits, gasoline or kerosene to the

in this manual. Use only attach-
ments and parts recommended by

ES. Everyday eyeglasses only
have impact resistant lenses, they
are NOT safety glasses.
14 It is good practice to wear gloves
whenever using industrial strength
cleaning fluids.
15 Use caution when lifting items in
and out of the appliance to prevent
back injuries.
16 Before servicing the unit, refer to all
