Oil filler cap
4. Remove the oil filler cap.
5. Top up the engine oil.
For the engine oil specifications, see chapter 15 Technical da-
ta.
Do not fill the engine oil above the "MAX" mark.
6. Check the engine oil level after 5 minutes.
Top up the engine oil if necessary.
12.7.11Changing the engine oil and engine oil filter
DANGER
Risk of burns from hot engine oil!
Allow the vehicle to cool down long enough so that there is no
longer a risk of burns from hot engine oil and the engine oil filter.
Note
A warm engine facilitates the draining of engine oil.
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Provide a catch pan for at least 10 litres of oil.
3. Switch off the engine.
4. Remove the oil filler cap.
5. Unscrew the oil drain plug.
6. Drain the engine oil.
7. Unscrew the engine oil filter.
8. Clean the mount and sealing surface.
9. Coat the seal of the new engine oil filter with oil.
10.Screw in the new engine oil filter and manually tighten it suffi-
ciently.
11.Renew the sealing ring for the oil drain plug and tighten the oil
drain plug to 60 Nm.
12.Pour in the engine oil.
For the fill volume and oil grade, see chapter 15 Technical da-
ta.
13.Close the oil filler cap.
14.Allow the engine to run for approx. 30 seconds.
15.Wait at least 5 minutes.
16.Check the engine oil level.
Top up the engine oil if necessary.
17.Check the tightness of the sealing ring and engine oil filter.
18.Dispose of waste oil in an environmentally friendly manner
(collection points).
12.7.12Bleeding the fuel system
Note
If the fuel tank was run empty or the fuel filter was changed, then
the fuel system must be bled.
1. Make sure that the fuel tank is filled.
2. Turn the ignition key for 2 to 5 minutes in position I until the fuel
pump audibly runs quietly.
Checking the hydraulic oil level and topping up the hydraulic
oil

Hydraulic oil level display
2
Maximum hydraulic oil level
3
Minimum hydraulic oil level
1. Check the hydraulic oil level.
Note
The hydraulic oil level must be between the upper (MAX) and
lower mark (MIN).
2. Top up the hydraulic oil if necessary.
Note
Lacking hydraulic oil can be topped up using a special tool
which is connected up to the leakage coupling on the vehicle.
If required, request the order no. at Kärcher or have Kärcher
Customer Service do the topping up.
For the hydraulic oil grade, see chapter 15 Technical data.
12.7.13Checking the coolant level and topping up the
coolant
몇
CAUTION
Risk of burns due to hot components
Do not touch any parts of the cooling system when the engine is
hot. Open the cooling system only when the engine is cold.
ATTENTION
Material damage due to incorrect coolant
Top up the coolant only when the engine is cold.
Use the water frost protection mixture.
Do not mix the antifreeze.
Only use soft or distilled water.
For the coolant, see chapter .
Note
Check the filling level when the engine is cold.
When the engine is warm, the coolant level could also be just
over the upper mark.
