Adjusting the side brush
By turning the knob, set the side brush so that
approximately 1/3 of the brush circumference
comes into contact with the ground.
4.2 Brushing with the KM 700
Brushing without side brush
- for brushing surfaces.
Pressing the foot pedal raises the side brush
until it engages.
Brushing with side brush
- for brushing up against walls and
kerbstones.
Note: Avoid brushing backwards. When
turning sharply to the right the side brush
stops rotating.
Raising the foot pedal lowers the side brush.
When sweeping very rough floors the side
brush disengages automatically so as to
protect the drive.
Note: On surfaces covered with very fine
dust it is advisable to switch off the outrigger
broom since it would cause the dust to swirl
up unnecessarily.
4.3 Emptying the dirt container
Grip the dirt container in the holding recess
and raise it.
Empty the contents of the container into a bin
and place the container back in its frame so
that it is in contact with the frame on all sides.
Note: Empty the dirt container in good time
and after completing work.
