ATTENTION
Stopping the motor at full load
Risk of damage
Never switch off the motor at full load with the high-pres-
sure gun open.
Note
After operation with salty water (seawater) rinse the de-
vice with tap water and an open high-pressure gun for
at least 2-3 minutes.
1. Set the temperature controller to the “Burner off” po-
sition.
2. Rinse the device for at least 30 seconds.
3. Close the high-pressure gun.
The motor is running at idle speed.
4. Turn the motor switch to the “OFF” position.
5. Close the fuel cock.
6. Close the water inlet.
7. Actuate the high-pressure gun until the device is
completely depressurised.
8. Push the safety latch forwards.
The high-pressure gun is secured.
9. Unscrew the water supply hose from the device.

Protect the trigger of the high-pressure gun from damage.
1. Release the parking brake.
2. Push the device.
3. When transporting the device in vehicles, secure it
to prevent it from slipping or overturning in accord-
ance with the respective, valid guidelines.

Be aware of the weight of the device during storage.
Frost protection

Destruction of the device through freezing water
Drain all water from the device.
Store the device in a frost-free location.
If frost-free storage is not possible:
1. Drain the water.
2. Pump commonly available anti-freeze through the
device.

Disconnect the fuel supply prior to all work on the device.

Safety inspection/maintenance contract
You can agree on regular safety inspections or close a
maintenance contract with your dealer. Please seek ad-
vice on this.
Maintenance intervals
Before every use
ATTENTION
Milky oil
Device damage
If the oil is milky, inform authorized Customer Service
immediately.
1. Check the oil level of the high-pressure pump (see
chapter

Weekly
1. Clean the water filter (see chapter
).
2. Check the fuel filter and replace it if necessary.
Half-yearly
1. Check the booster heater (see chapter
).
2. Clean the sieve in the safety block (see chapter

3. Unscrew the high-pressure hose from the water out-
let. If there is a clear, white layer of lime in the water
outlet, descale the device. If there is a thick layer of
lime, descale frequently.
Every six months or as required
1. Drain the fuel tank.
2. Clean the fuel tank.
3. Clean the fuel filter.
4. Clean the fuel nozzle.
5. Clean the heating coil.
a Desulphurise the heating coil.
b Remove soot from the heating coil.
6. Change the oil in the high-pressure pump.
Every 500 operating hours, at least annually
Have the device serviced by the authorized Custom-
er Service.
Maintenance work
Cleaning the water filter
1. Shut off the water inlet.
2. Unscrew the filter cup.

3. Pull the filter insert downwards and off.
4. Clean the filter insert and filter cup.
5. Re-install the filter insert.
6. Screw on the filter cup again and tighten.
Checking the booster heater
1. Disassemble the burner insert.
2. Clean the burner.
3. Clean the ignition electrodes or replace them, if nec-
essary.
4. Check the electrode gap.
Adjust the electrode gap if necessary.
