Transport

WARNING

The engine is to be brought to a standstill and the appli-

ance is to be fastened properly during transportation.

Maintenance

DANGER

Switch off the appliance prior to performing any 

cleaning or maintenance tasks on the appliance,  re-

placing parts or switching over to another function. 

In the case of mains operated appliances, remove 

the mains plug; in the case of battery-operated ap-

pliances, pull out the battery plug or clamp off the 

battery.

Maintenance work may only be carried out by ap-

proved customer service outlets or experts in this 

field who are familiar with the respective safety reg-

ulations.

Please observe the local safety regulations regard-

ing portable commercially used appliances.

Accessories and spare parts

DANGER

Only use accessories and spare parts which have been 

approved by the manufacturer. The exclusive use of 

original accessories and original spare parts ensures 

that the appliance can be operated safely and trouble 

free.

Appliances with rotating brushes / disks

DANGER

Use only brushes/ disks that are provided with the 

appliance or specified in the Operations Manual. 

The use of other brushes / disks can affect the safe-

ty of the appliance.

Please keep in mind that the power cord or exten-

sion cable can be damaged when run over while op-

erating the cleaning head with rotating brushes / 

disks.

Attachments

DANGER

The attachments are not approved for public trans-

port. Please ask your dealer for the equipment set 

for approval for road traffic.

It is strictly prohibited to take co-passengers.

Ride-on appliances may only be started after the op-

erator has occupied the driver's seat.

Please follow the special safety instructions in the 

Operating Instructions Manual for petrol engine de-

vices.

Do not use the appliance without a falling objects 

protective structure (FOPS) in areas, where there is 

a chance that the operator may be struck by falling 

objects.

Battery-operated machines

DANGER

Always follow the instructions of the battery manu-

facturer and the charger manufacturer. Please fol-

low the statutory requirements for handling and 

disposing batteries.

Do not place tools or similar items on the battery.

Risk of short-circuit and explosion.

Do not work with open flames, generate sparks or 

smoke in the vicinity of a battery or a battery charg-

ing room. Danger of explosion.

Be careful while handling battery acid. Follow the re-

spective safety instructions!

Used batteries are to be disposed according to the 

EC guideline 91 / 157 EWG or the corresponding 

national regulations in an environment-friendly man-

ner.

ATTENTION

Never leave the batteries in a discharged state; re-

charge them as soon as possible.

Always keep the batteries clean and dry to avoid 

creep currents. Protect the batteries and avoid con-

tact with impurities such as metal dust.

Safety switch

To take all functions out of operation immediately: Turn 

the safety switch to the "0" position.

When switching off the safety switch, the appliance 

brakes hard.

The emergency stop has a direct effect on all ma-

chine functions.

Seat switch

This switches off the drive motor after a short delay if the 

operator leaves the operator seat during operation or 

while the appliance is moving.

Warning symbols

Observe the following warnings when handling the bat-

teries:

CAUTION

Risk of injury through crushing.

Keep hands away from this area while 

lowering the waste water tank.

Observe notes in the instructions of the 

battery, on the battery and in these oper-

ating instructions.

Wear eye protection.

Keep acids and batteries away from chil-

dren.

Risk of explosion

Fire, sparks, open flames and smoking 

are prohibited.

Risk of acid burns

First aid.
