IMPORTANT:

Your tent is made from a breathable polyester/cotton material
that requires some preparation before first use to maximise its
weatherproofing.  Before first use  fully set up the flysheet of the
tent, preferably when heavy rain is expected, and allow the tent to
become thoroughly wet.  This process is known as “weathering”.
If necessary  you could use a hose pipe with a fine spray.   This
wetting tightens the fabric and allows the cotton in the sewing
thread to swell and fill the holes made by the sewing needle.
Allow the tent to thoroughly dry before packing away.    Your tents
weatherproofing will improve with subsequent soakings.

The seams of this tent have been sewn using a special sewing
thread.  The core of the sewing thread is a strong polyester that is
wrapped with cotton.  It is the cotton that swells to fill the sewing
holes when it becomes wet.  Depending upon your expectations,
it may be necessary to treat any seams that continue to drip with a
seam sealer.  We recommend Kampa Seam Sealer that is
available from your dealer.

WELCOME

Thank you for purchasing your Kampa AirFrame tent.  Please read these
instructions carefully before attempting to set up your tent and retain for future
reference.  If used properly, your tent should give you years of trouble free
use.  We recommend that your tent is insured against accidental and storm
damage as this is not covered by the warranty.

This tent is designed for use in light to moderate weather.  During very strong
winds or snowfall we recommend that you take your tent down.  The tent is
designed for touring use; it is not designed for static or commercial use.

We recommend a trial run before using your tent for the first time.  This will
allow you to familiarise yourself with the tent, its set up and any limitations the
tent may have for your particular use.
