Operating Your Kambrook Hot Dog Maker

Before First Use

Remove any packaging material

and promotional labels. Ensure

the On/Off button on the base is

switched to ‘0’, prior to connecting

the appliance to the power outlet
Wash the steaming container, lid

and egg cooker insert in warm soapy

water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Wipe the cooking base and

heating rods with a damp cloth

and dry thoroughly.

Cooking Hot Dogs

and Warming Hot Dog

Bread Buns

Place the Hot Dog Maker on a dry,

level surface.
Insert the plug into a 230V or 240V

power outlet.
Pour cold tap water into the non-

stick water bowl to the MAX water

level mark.
Place the steaming container over the

non-stick water bowl by aligning the

four indented grooves in the steaming

container with the four tabs on the

raised section of the motor base.
Switch the power on at the

power outlet.
Preheat the appliance for three

minutes by pressing the On/Off

button to ‘I’ for the steam function

only. To steam hot dogs and warm

hot dog bread buns at the same

time, select the ‘II’ position on the

On/Off button and both functions will

work simultaneously.

NOTE:

 To prevent the Hot Dog

Maker from overheating, water

must be added to the non-stick

water bowl prior to cooking hot

dogs or warming hot dog bread

buns.

Place the hot dogs upright into the

steaming container.

NOTE:

Do not cook more than 15

standard hot dogs at one time.

Place the lid onto the steaming

container.
Cooking time for 15 standard hot

dogs is approximately 18 minutes. The

amount of cooking time required will

depend upon the number, size and

coldness of hot dogs to be cooked.

Do not overcook as some hot dog

skins may burst. Thicker hot dogs may

require longer cooking time.
To warm hot dog bread buns, pierce

one end of the hot dog bread bun

and slide onto the bun warmer. Once

the bread buns are warm, remove

and repeat the process with additional

hot dog bread buns as required.
Once the hot dogs are cooked, turn

the Hot Dog Maker off by switching the

On/Off button to the ‘O’ off position.
Carefully remove the lid of the

steaming container by using the knob

on top of the lid.

NOTE:

 Steam can cause severe

burns therefore take extra

precaution when lifting the lid and

removing the hot dogs as steam

may escape and cause injury.
