Using Your Kambrook Heated Towel Rail

Before First Use

Remove your towel rail from its carton

and associated protective wrapping.

Unwind the cord to its full length and

remove any protective cardboard or

foam that may have been used to

minimise transportation damage.
This appliance

MUST

 be installed

in accordance with the relevant

electrical wiring rules and regulations

and in particular those regulations,

which cover installations of appliances

and accessories in damp situations

such as bathrooms, laundries

and other areas with fixed water

containers.
This towel rail can be either a wall

mounted version or a freestanding

version.
Your towel rail will take approximately

45 minutes to reach operating

temperature.

WARNING:

 By increasing

the layers of textiles the

operating temperature

will increase slightly due

to an insulation effect.

As the ambient room temperature

increases so will the operating

temperature of the towel rail. Any

such rise in ambient temperature is

generally directly reflected in the

tower rail and as a result of this the

towel rail will feel hotter to touch

during summer months.

WARNING:

 In order to

avoid a hazard for young

children, the towel rail

should be installed so

that the lowest rail is at

least 600mm above the

floor. The towel rail should

be installed so that

control switch cannot be

touched by a person in

the bath or shower.

To Assemble Wall Mountable

Towel Rail

(See Fig. 1)

1.

Remove the plastic band

clamp from the wall bracket by

unscrewing the rear retaining

screw.

2.

Slide the insert over the towel rail

tubing to the positions marked A,

B, C, D (See Fig. 1).

3.

Replace the wall bracket to the

plastic band clamp by screwing

the retaining screw into position.

4.

Once all the mounting brackets

are in position on the towel rail,

choose a suitable position on the

wall. Ensure the power cord is at

the bottom of the frame and the

long rails in the horizontal plane.

5.

The power cord can be either on

the left or right side.

6.

Mark the mounting holes on the

wall. Drill and fix the unit into

position.

7.

Cover the foot mounts, E and

F, with the plastic end plug

provided.

8.

Plug the towel rail into the wall

socket, after which the towel rail

is controlled by the switch at the

power outlet.
