Using Your Hand Mixer

BEFORE FIRST USE

Before first use, remove and safely 

discard any promotional labels. Ensure 

that you have all parts and accessories 

listed in the components list before 

discarding the packaging.

 NOTE 

Ensure the hand mixer is 

unplugged and the speed selector 

scroll wheel is set to   (OFF) before 

assembling, cleaning or changing 

accessories.

1. 

To release the hand mixer from the 

snap-on storage case, pull outward 

on the corner of the storage case 

where indicated at the opening, 

while simultaneously pulling upwards 

and in the opposite direction on the 

handle of the hand mixer. (Fig. 1) 

Remove the accessories from the 

storage case.

Wash the beaters, whisk, dough 

hooks and storage case in warm, 

soapy water. Rinse and dry 

thoroughly. Wipe the motor base 

with a slightly damp cloth and dry.

3. 

Insert the accessories required for the 

mixing task (beaters, dough hooks or 

whisk) into the accessory sockets on 

the base of the hand mixer.

4. 

Accessories should be fitted into 

the hand mixer as below:

a. 

If using the beaters, they 

are interchangeable 

and will operate in either 

accessory socket.

b. 

If using the single whisk, it 

will operate when fitted to 

either socket.

c. 

If using the dough hooks, insert 

the dough hook with the collar 

into the larger socket and the 

non-collared dough hook into 

the smaller socket. (Fig. 2)

WARNING

Dough hooks must be inserted 

into the correct sockets as they 

are not interchangeable and 

incorrect insertion will result 

in damage.

 NOTE

Always ensure the beaters, whisk 

or dough hooks are properly 

inserted before operating.

 NOTE

Accessories should be removed 

using the quick-release trigger, 

however, they will detach if 

pulled from the hand mixer.
