Switch off at the control switch and power

outlet, then unplug and allow heater to cool

down before cleaning or storing. Use this

heater only as described in this instruction

manual. Any other use not recommended

by the manufacture may cause fire electric

shock or injury and voids all warranties.
Regularly inspect the supply cord, plug,

control settings, air inlets and outlets and

main housing for any damage. If found

damaged in any way, immediately cease use

of the heater and return to Kambrook or an

authorised service agent for inspection or

repair.
The installation of a residual current device

(safety switch) is recommended to provide

additional safety protection when using

electrical appliances. It is advisable that a

safety switch with a rated residual operating

current not exceeding 30mA be installed in

the electrical circuit. See your electrician for

professional advice.

HOW TO OPERATE:

Remove your heater from its carton and

associated protective wrapping, and unwind

the cord to its full length and remove any

protective cardboard or foam that may

have been used to minimize transportation

damage. Place the heater on a firm, level

surface in a stable upright position. Visually

inspect the air inlet and outlets to ensure no

foreign material is blocking these areas. The

heater must always be operated with the

rear air filter in position.
Plug the cord into a 230-240V electrical

outlet. Be sure the plug fits tightly as a loose

fit will cause overheating and damage the

plug. To avoid an electrical circuit overload,

it is recommended that no other appliances

are plugged into the same circuit with your

heater when you switch the unit on.
This heater has three heat control settings

OFF, ”LOW” HEAT AND “HIGH” HEAT,

located at the top of the unit, along with

an adjustable thermostat control. “LOW”

HEAT (750W) is the lowest heat setting and

“HIGH” HEAT (1500W) is the highest.
To select these settings DO NOT twist

or rotate the heat control and thermostat

control located on the top of the heater.

To turn the heater on, grip the heat setting

knob and lightly pull all the way up to the

“HIGH” setting. There will be an audible

click as the wedge moves through the

settings. The power indicator light will

illuminate to indicate that power is on.

To decrease the heat settings push down on

the heat control. There will be an audible

click as the wedge moves through the

settings.
To turn the heater OFF push the heat

control (used to select “LOW” HEAT or

“HIGH” HEAT settings) all the way down

and the heater will turn off. The power

indicator light will go out.

Thermostat control

Turn the heat control to the HIGH setting by
pulling the knob up. Pull up the thermostat
control to the highest thermostat setting.

Let the heater run until the desired room
temperature is achieved. Then push the knob
down until  you hear a click sound. The unit will
stop. At this setting, your heater will automatically
cycle on and off to maintain the desired room
temperature.

Once the thermostat is activaed, you can simply
pull the knob up or down if you want to change
the temperature.

Thermo Guard Overheating Safety Device

Your heater is fitted with a safety device
that switches off the heater in the event of
overheating. Should this heater stop working, turn
off the heater and inspect for blockages in air
inlet or outlets. Wait at least five minutes for the
protection system to reset before attempting to
restart the heater.

If the heater fails to operate or the safety device
switches off again, return the heater to your
nearest service centre for examination or repair.
