tHERmOstat INstRUCtION:

1.  Press the Setting button until the heater is 

set to the AUTO mode. 

2.  To adjust the set temperature, rotate the 

Thermostat dial clockwise to increase the 

desired temperature and counter-clockwise 

to decrease the desired temperature. 

3.  The desired temperature can be set between 

15ºC and 38ºC.

4.  When the air temperature reaches 2º above 

the set temperature the heater will stop 

heating at once and stop blowing after 

approximately 15 seconds. 

5.  When the air temperature drops 1ºC below 

the set temperature the unit will reactivate. 

saFEtY FEatUREs:

This heater includes an audible alarm to warn 
that parts of the heater are overheating. If this 
alarm sounds, immediately turn the heater off 
and inspect for any objects on or adjacent to 
the heater that may cause high temperature. DO 
NOT OPERATE THE HEATER WITH THE ALARM 
SOUNDING. 

thermo Guard Overheating safety Device

Your heater is fitted with a safety device 
that switches off the heater in the event of 
overheating. Should this heater stop working, turn 
off the heater and inspect for blockages in air 
inlet or outlets. Wait at least five minutes for the 
protection system to reset before attempting to 
restart the heater.

If the heater fails to operate or the safety device 
switches off again, return the heater to your 
nearest service centre for examination or repair.

CaRE aND maINtENaNCE

Always turn off and then unplug the heater 

before cleaning.
Use only a clean, dry cloth to clean the 

external surfaces of the heater only.
If the heater has collected dust or dirt inside 

the unit or around the elements, have the unit 

cleaned by a qualified service agent. Do not 

operate the heater in this condition.
Do not attempt to open the case of the heater 

at any time there are no customer serviceable 

parts inside
When not in use, pack the heater, preferably 

in its original box for best protection and 

store in a cool, clean and dry location.
Regularly clean the air filter at the rear of the 

heater.
