feature will turn the kettle off and allow
the kettle to cool before further
operation.The device will automatically
reset itself when the unit has cooled
sufficiently.

This feature has been built into your
Kambrook Elite Kettle. In the event that
your kettle does malfunction this feature
will prevent overheating.This safety
feature will automatically shut down the
kettle to prevent further damage (and
usage). In the event that this occurs, please
take your kettle to an authorised
Kambrook Service Centre.

Cleaning

WARNING! NEVER IMMERSE

THE KETTLE, POWER BASE,
CORD OR PLUG IN WATER OR
ANY OTHER LIQUID

Always switch off at the power outlet and
then unplug before cleaning, moving or
storing the appliance.

Additionally ensure that moisture does
not come into contact with cords, plugs
or cordless contact points.

Interior Cleaning

Removal of Mineral Deposits

Mineral deposits in the water may cause
the kettle interior to discolour.

This may be removed by using a Kettle
Descaler available from most
supermarkets and hardware stores.
Alternatively fill the kettle with 3 cups of
white vinegar and the remainder with
water and allow to stand overnight.

DO NOT BOIL. Empty the solution from
the kettle.

Fill the kettle again with clean water, bring
to the boil and discard the water.

Repeat and the kettle will then be ready
for use.

Exterior Cleaning

Always ensure that the power is switched
off and disconnected prior to cleaning.

Exterior of the kettle can be cleaned with
a damp cloth and then dried with a dry
clean cloth.

Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning
solutions, chemicals or hard brushes for
cleaning as these may scratch and damage
the unit.
